Application for admission to the Course at Handloom Training Institute (HTI)

  1. If the applicant is a first time user, he/she needs to click the Register Tab provided in top right corner in this page and then get registered with the necessary fields such as Full Name, Mobile No., Email id (which is not mandatory), State and Password.
  2. Then the applicant needs to login with the credentials, by clicking the Login Tab.
  3. After the applicant has logged on to the system, he/she needs to click the Apply Online tab and select the service they want to apply for and click the apply button after going through the Requirements tab.
  4. Applicant has to fill up the form and upload the required supporting documents.
  5. After successful submission of the form, an acknowledgement will be generated containing the application reference no. .The application is then forwarded to higher officials for further processes. The same will be notified over SMS and Email id of the applicant.
  6. An applicant can view and track the status of the application by clicking the Track button and entering the applicant’s application reference no.
  7. In case, if there are any discrepancies or mismatch found in the online application, the applicant needs to makes the necessary corrections in the online application or has to apply through a fresh online application. The applicant will be notified about this over SMS and Email id by the concerned official.
  8. If all processes are correct than a date is assigned for Physical inspection. The applicant will get notified about the inspection details over SMS and Email.
  9. If the Inspection is successful, the applicant will be notified to pay the requisite animal tax and application fee over SMS and Email.
  10. After successful submission of documents, Application for admission to the Course at Handloom Training Institute (HTI) will be generated and the applicant can download it from the ARTPS portal. The same will be notified to the applicant over SMS and Email.

Requirements:

There are 4 (four) nos. of Handloom Training Institute has been running under the department to create skilled technical persons in Handloom who can in turn to demonstrate the weaving, designing, dyeing, processing and other related activities to weavers as well as to serve in the industry for production of quality and value added product and diversification of handloom items. The successfully completed trainees will have also got opportunity for self employment and they may create employment potentiality to other in handloom sector. The total capacity of trainees in these 4 (four) institutes is 97.

The Directorate of Handloom and Textiles issues Admission notice for Handloom Training Institute(HTI). The admin will open the portal to receive applications from applicants. Application must be submitted before the last date of submission application as specified in the notice.


1. The age of the applicant should not be less then 18 years and more than 30 years.

2. The minimum qualification is class X passed or above.

3. The Age relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC Candidates and admission for EWS candidates will be followed as per norms.

4. The details of the applicant must be filled and supporting documents must be uploaded.

5. The applicants shall have to appear before the selection committee on a date notified by the concerned HTI.

1. User charge– NIL

2. Service charge (PFC/ CSC) – Rs. 30/-

3. Printing charge (in case of any printing from PFC) - Rs. 10 Per Page

4. Scanning charge (in case documents are scanned in PFC)- Rs. 5 Per page
