Approval for commencement of power supply in the electrical installations of multi-storied building

Dear user, you will be redirected to EODB portal for this service. If not already registered, please register first otherwise login to avail the service.

  1. If the applicant is a first time user, he/she needs to click the Register Tab provided in top right corner in this page and then get registered with the necessary fields such as Full Name, Mobile No., Email id (which is not mandatory), State and Password.
  2. Then the applicant needs to login with the credentials, by clicking the Login Tab.
  3. After the applicant has logged on to the system, he/she needs to click the Apply Online tab and select the service they want to apply for and click the apply button after going through the Requirements tab.
  4. Applicant has to fill up the form and upload the required supporting documents.
  5. On final submission of the form, applicant has to pay the requisite amount.
  6. Once the payment is successful it will be forwarded to the higher officials for further processes. An acknowledgement will be generated containing the application reference no., the same will be notified over SMS and Email id of the applicant.
  7. An SMS and Email alert is sent to applicant on completion of the service. The applicant needs to respond to the SMS and Email regarding completion of the service.
  8. After successful completion of the service, Approval for commencement of power supply in the electrical installations of multi-storied building is generated. The applicant will be notified about this over SMS and Email and the applicant can download it from ARTPS portal.

Supporting Documents :

  1. Electrical lay out drawings that show the appropriate rating / type / size(s) of all electrical Generators, equipments, accessories, etc. in the single line diagram and dimensions / clearances etc. in the physical layout plan & in the details of earthing layout plan including panels, Lightening arrestor
  2. A details load schedule of the connected load and test report of the internal electrical installation including earth system with due seal and signature of contractor /authorized person(s) and countersigned by the consumer / owner / occupier or its agent
  3. A copy of permission / NOC for construction of the building along with approved drawing from Municipal / Development / Appropriate local Authority
  4. Certified copy of approved drawing and NOC to construct the building and completion certificate to be enclosed.
  5. Connected load with break up of lighting, powers and others type of load in annexed sheet.
  6. Distribution System details:(A single line diagram clearly indicating all devices, controls, connection, with all ratings and specification to be furnished. Load in each sub-circuit to be shown. In case of individual flats/ units having similar connections and electrical loads, details of one unit of each type only need to be furnished).
  7. Physical layout plan indicating the position of the transformer, panels, generator, route of all OH line/cables with dimensions/clearances.
  8. Position of Main Control Room/Breakers/MCCBs/MCB, DB & electrical cable ducts and layout of main cable(s).
  9. A single line diagram of the main panel(s) indicating all connections and control/protective and metering equipment/devices with ratings and specifications.
  10. A front view of the panel(s) indicating all equipment/devices.
  11. A Test Report of the panel duly signed by the Electrical Supervisor of the manufacturer who has manufactured the electrical panel(s).
  12. Details of earthing (A layout of earthing of the main panel and other equipment to be furnished in the diagram required under 7.4 above.)
  13. Has lightning protection been provided:?Detailed diagram of lightening protection to be provided separately.
  14. Furnish details of fire protection/fire alarm system provided. NOC of state fire department to be furnished.
  15. Testing. A detailed test report with circuit wise insulation resistance and details of earth resistance test to be furnished. (Separately for each section, each panel and each unit/conductor).

Stipulated Time Limit :  15 (Fifteen) working days from the date of submission of application, completed in all respects along with documents as per checklist.

Fees:

    1. Service charge (through PFC/CSC) - Rs. 30
    2. Printing charge (in case of any printing from PFC/CSC) - Rs. 10 per page
    3. Scanning charge (in case documents are scanned in PFC/CSC) - Rs. 5 per page.
    4. Application Fee- N/A

It is an act to provide for the delivery of notified public services to the people of the state of Assam within the stipulated time limit and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto. The Assam government passed the RTPS Act in 2012.

Visit the Sewa Setu portal. Click on “Register” or “Login” on the homepage. This is located in the top right corner or the Login card of the portal. For new users click on "New User" and enter your mobile number and OTP, then provide personal details (name, DOB, etc.). Create login credentials. Submit the registration form. Check for a confirmation message. Login to your account.

This Act will help citizens access services in a time-bound manner and create a formal appellate process in the case of non-compliance.

Citizens can apply for any of the services notified under the ARTPS Act at this ARTPS Portal or any Public Facilitation Centre (PFC) or any Citizen Service Centre (CSC).

The citizen shall receive an acknowledgment after submission of the application by the Designated Officer or his/her authorized representative.
