Partition of Land (Both Urban and Rural)
- If the applicant is a first time user, he/she needs to click the Register Tab provided in top right corner in this page and then get registered with the necessary fields such as Full Name, Mobile No., Email id (which is not mandatory), State and Password.
- Then the applicant needs to login with the credentials, by clicking the Login Tab.
- After the applicant has logged on to the system, he/she needs to click the Apply Online tab and select the service they want to apply for and click the apply button after going through the Requirements tab.
- Applicant has to fill up the form and upload the required supporting documents (view in the Requirements tab)
- An applicant has to make the payment at the time of submission of application form.
- Once payment is successful, application is being forwarded to the officials for further processes and an acknowledgement slip is being generated along with a reference number with the help of which an applicant can track the status of the application. An SMS and Email is being sent to the applicant.
- An applicant can view and track the status of the application by clicking the Track button and entering the applicant’s application reference no.
- After successful completion of the service within 90 working days, Application for Partition of Land is generated. The applicant will be notified about this over SMS and Email and the applicant can download it from ARTPS portal.
Eligibility Criteria: -
As per section 97 of the Assam Land and Revenue Regulations, 1886: -
"Every recorded … land holder may, if he/she is in actual possession of the land, in respect of he/she desires partition, claim partition of the estate."
Supporting Documents :
- Last/ Up-to-date Land Revenue receipt (to be auto-fetched through e-Khajana).
- Copy of original deed (optional), in case of land mutated by right of transfer.
- Scanned copy of Partition deed of mutual partition/ affidavit declaring mutual partition/ authenticated consent in case of land mutated by right of inheritance.
- Self-declaration on oath by the applicant stating that the land is free from encumbrance and litigation and he/she has a clear title and undisputed possession over it.
Stipulated Time Limit : 60 days (as per ARTPS citizen charter)
